Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
